Who doesn’t know anything about Jim Carrey? Of course, millions of people have already seen how much of a megastar this individual can be. To perfectly honest, Jim has daringly starred in many roles that have catapulted him to the top of the list of comedians, actors, directors, writers, and producers in the movie and entertainment business. Mr. Carrey is a Canadian who spent most of his childhood learning how to entertain crowds, and when old enough, he started honing his skills as a stand-up comedian in the Toronto metropolitan area as a teenager. Shortly after doing his stand-up comedy acts in Toronto, he decided to take a move to Los Angeles in hopes of entertaining many crowds. As he was performing at The Comedy Store, Rodney Dangerfield was able to spot as talented he was and still is.
Later in 1990, Jim was given many roles in the comedy television series, In Living Color. He remained on the cast of the show until its end in 1995. He became a quick and ongoing hit as soon as the movie, Ace Ventura: Pet Detective hit the box office. He soon became known all around the country and soon starred in Dumb and Dumber and The Mask. Liar, Liar was the next movie he starred in, and shortly after, he starred other big comedy hits, Bruce Almighty, Yes Man, Bruce Almighty, and Me, Myself, and Irene. He’s also taken steps toward different genres, such as the thriller known as The Number 23. His starring roles in Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Man on the Moon, The Truman Show, and The Majestic were also big hits at the box office.
With all of the movies Jim has starred in, he’s been able to accumulate a total of $150 million. Eventually, he could possibly star in the movie, Dumb and Dumber Too, with the co-star, Jeff Daniels. Jim has definitely got enough going for him right now, and it seems like he’s willing to earn much more net worth than he’s already accumulate. We should certainly keep an eye out on Mr. Carrey as he continues starring in mega roles that could possibly hit big at the box office.
